Erin Dahl

Born and raised in Miami, Erin spent much of her childhood outdoors, climbing trees and catching lizards. At the University of Miami she studied Ecosystem Science and Policy, where she gained a comprehensive understanding of the Everglades ecosystem, taking courses that focused on both the natural and cultural histories of South Florida. During her college years, she began volunteering at Everglades National Park, where she learned the difficulties of invasive species removal and habitat restoration (including how to not step on an 8-ft python). An avid adventurer, Erin spends her free time exploring different parts of South Florida either by foot or kayak.
